In Heavensturn 2022, Final Fantasy XIV presents a seasonal event to celebrate the New Year! It invites new as well as veteran players to participate. Since this is the Year of the Tiger, the festival arrives with rewards such as thematic gear, house furniture, and a special FATE.
The FFXIV Heavensturn festival is available from January 5, 2022, to January 19, 2022, until 6:59 AM (PST) and you must be at least level 15 to participate. First head to Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks (The Aftecastle crystal is the closest one in case you want to use the aethernet) to find Tora Bugyo (X: 11.5 Y: 13.9), the NPC who gives Heavensturn’s first quest, ‘Tangle with a Tora’. Tora asks you to participate in a specific FATE in order to complete the quest.
Your mission is to help a group of mages to perform a ritual in which they give life to a tiger that adorns a folding screen, and the you have to defeat it. Here’s how to complete the rest of the FFXIV Heavensturn event.
Next, teleport to Middle La Noscea – Summerford Farms. You must look for the FATE ‘Tora Tora, Burning Bright’ that spawns in the south (X: 24.2 Y: 26.0) from time to time. This is a simple fight against the Phantom Byakko, where you must avoid AoE attacks. Although it is a level 15 FATE, if you are caught by too many attacks, it is quite easy to die. After finishing the quest, you need to choose if you want the Golden Tora Kabuto or the Silver Tora Kabuto reward.
